Forbes Recognizes Shelter Insurance® as the World’s Best Insurance Company for Auto Insurance

Shelter Insurance® has been named World’s Best Auto Insurance on Forbes’ list of World’s Best Insurance Companies 2024. Shelter was also named #10 in the world for homeowners insurance.

Forbes compiled this list by surveying more than 45,000 customers in 15 countries between January and March of 2024. Respondent criteria included having held at least one auto, home or life insurance policy in the last three years. Consumers were asked if they would recommend their carrier to others, how satisfied and loyal they are to their carrier, and to evaluate their carrier on advice from employees, customer service, price, performance, transparency and claims service. 298 companies made at least one of the lists. Shelter was #1 out of 160 for auto insurance and #10 out of 130 in homeowners insurance.
