Shelter offers generous premium discounts for dwelling insurance. They may not be offered in all states, or may be offered under different terms.
Claim-Free Discount
Maintain your insurance policy for at least six consecutive years without a claim and get a discount on your premium. The discount will apply on all subsequent renewals.
Heating System Discount
If a solid fuel heating device (wood, coal, etc.) isn't present, you can receive a discount. A conventional fireplace isn't considered a solid fuel heating device.
