These are just a few services this roadside assistance service provides*. Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 and pays for services up to $100 per incident. You can purchase additional limits if needed, just ask your Shelter Agent.

How much Roadside Assistance coverage can I receive?

Each Shelter Policy includes Roadside Assistance coverage up to $100 per incident.

What’s not covered under Roadside Assistance?

Cost of parts, services done by a repair shop, and towing due to illegal parking, impoundment, or other legal violations are not covered.

Is this service directly through Shelter?

Shelter works with Agero, a service provider, to provide 24/7 roadside assistance to our policyholders.

Can I receive Roadside Assistance if I’m in an accident?

If you’re involved in an accident, report a claim and the vehicle towing will be handled through the claims process if you have the required coverage. If you need to file a claim, you can do so by calling 1-800-SHELTER (1-800-743-5387) or logging on to your My Shelter account to report it. You can also file a claim through the My Shelter app.
