If your company uses cars, SUVs, light trucks, or vans for business purposes, we offer a wide range of generous premium discounts. The discounts listed below may not be offered in all states, or may be offered under different terms.

Safe Driver Discount

Shelter Insurance^® customers who have been accident- and violation-free for the past three years may qualify for a discount. The discount may even be increased if no accidents or violations are reported in six years of being insured with Shelter.

Switching to Shelter? You can qualify for this discount with no waiting period!

Passive Restraint Discount

A discount may be applied if the insured vehicle is equipped with factory-installed air bags or automatic seat belts that meet federal safety standards.

Multi-Car Discount

A discount may be applied when you insure two or more vehicles with Shelter Insurance^®.

Companion Policy Discount

Premiums may be discounted if one of the covered individuals on the policy is at least 48 years old and also owns a qualifying Shelter Insurance^® property policy, like homeowners insurance or farmowners insurance.
