Our Happy Work Team

A group of Shelter employees started a grass roots effort in 2016 to help co-workers feel welcomed and valued.  Their efforts grew into an official Shelter employee resource group now known as the Happy Work Team.

The Happy Work Team builds collaborative opportunities for employee engagement and increased satisfaction. Happy Work Team activities include new employee welcoming efforts, current employee appreciation efforts, and providing informational tips and tricks via email. They also hold quarterly Lunch and Learn sessions on a variety of topics.
